gift wine

With Christmas fast approaching, wine is usually a great go-to gift for your friends, whether its your main present for a good friend, or it’s a hostess gift for wherever you are spending your holidays, it is a great option. I get that the thought of picking out a wine might be daunting, so here is my list of 25 gift worthy wines for the holiday season most are under $40.00 with many of them being under $30.00. Here they are, in no particular order!

Sparkling Wines

The holidays always deserve a few bubbles; they feel special and are usually all about the celebration. A great hostess gift! Tip: If you want your bubbles served at the house you bring them to, make sure they are chilled- it’s always a great excuse to get them in your glass upon arrival!

White Wine

White wine is versatile, a crowd pleaser, and normally a little cheaper than red to buy- but nonetheless delicious! Probably most misunderstood, there are so many dessert wine options to cap off a great meal. There is more to dessert wine that ice wine (if that doesn’t tickle your fancy) like Port, and Sherry, or Cognac. After dinner drinks make the evening feel very posh, and they are always a great finally to an evening.

Fonseca Late Bottled Vintage Port 2011

Taylor Fladgate 10-Year-Old Tawny Port

De Bortoli Noble One Botrytis Semillon 2014
